Climes was accepted into this year’s Dylan Fest Songwriter’s Contest at Sacred Heart Music Center! We will be asked to perform two songs, one original and a Bob Dylan cover, of course.

The criteria for judging follows: 

1. Originality: Does it create interest and engage the listener? Does it define your voice and your expression? 

2. Melody: Does the melody grab the listener? Does it create emotion and carry the song? 

3. Composition: Do the melody and lyrics complement each other? 

4. Lyrics: Do the lyrics express the idea or convey emotion? Do they engage the listener? 

5. Presentation: Does the song and music impact the audience? Does the performer own the song? This is live, do it with your heart and soul!

Climes was invited to perform live music for the grand opening of Duluth’s Best Bread’s Superior location. This is a morning performance so if coffee and pastries are your thing, show up!
